  • TEA Paragraph Format- A basic handout explaining the structure of a TEA paragraph.

  • Setting Up Quotes- See this for the three different methods to set up quotes, tips on following up quotes, and examples of each.
  • Concessives-  This outlines the rules for using concessives to write a better thesis statement.
  • Revision Strategies- While this is geared towards the interview essay, these strategies and this checklist can be used for other writing as well with only minor modifications.
  • MLA Citations- See the handout linked here for a quick cheat sheet to MLA Citations (8th Edition).​​​
  • MLA Formatting- See this slideshow for how to format a paper in the MLA style.  This will have guidelines for margins, headings, font, etc.
